**Staff Accountant** **Opportunity Summary**:W.W. Williams is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team. In this role, your primary responsibility is to support general accounting functions including journal entry preparation, account analysis, and assisting in the monthly financial reporting cycle.**Job Duties**:- Assist with the monthly close and preparation of financial statements- Perform various analyses on income statement and balance sheet accounts- Maintain supporting schedules and perform reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts- Support continuous process improvement projects within the accounting function- Assist with the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance projections- Assist with external and internal audit requests- Provide ad hoc information support and analysis to other departments- Other job duties as assigned**Work ExperienceQualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Experience with accounting software.- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.**Employee Rewards and Benefits**:- Days recognized by the Federal Labor Law- Life insurance- Training paid for by the company- Growth and leadership opportunities**About the Company**:W.W.
