At Fictiv, you'll be surrounded by supportive teammates who will push you to be your best through their curiosity and passion.**Impact In This Role**:We're looking for an expert Tooling Engineer to help drive our _Global_ Sheet Metal Tooling program, based in Monterrey, Mexico. You'll be one of the founding members focused on building our Sheet Metal Transfer program to help Fortune 500 customers leverage our _global_ manufacturing network to bring advanced Sheet Metal products to Mexico. You'll work with some of the most innovative customers in Aerospace, Medical, Automotive, and Industrial and Transportation companies to near-shore their _supply_ chain to bring new innovation to the market.You will report to the General Manager - Mexico.- **What You'll Be Doing as our Tooling Engineer - Sheet Metal**:- Working directly with our team in China on tooling design and operational workflow to enable successful tooling transfer- Interface with both USA and Mexico sheet metal suppliers to validate and bring transferred tools online to make successful components- Work with repair shops to fix and validate any technical issues to make each mold operational- Support sales with technical questions and requirements during the sales calls and visits- Work with 2D, 3D drawings and work with other materials, including; aluminum, steel, copper and other metals**Preferred Qualifications and Traits**- +10 years of sheet metal experience- +5 years of experience working with China suppliers on tooling transfers- Degreed mechanical engineer- Experience with 2D, 3D drawings and work with different materials, including aluminum, steel, copper, and other metals- Experience working in industries such as; automotive, aerospace, medical and industrial- Product Assembly experience is a plus, e.g. riveting and welding- AWS Certification is a plus- Experience as a sheet metal Mechanical Engineer, proficient in problem-solving, and troubleshooting issues that arise during design and manufacturing- Skilled professional capable of reading and understanding blueprints and schematics- Scientific Molding experience- AWS Certification is a plus- Bilingual in English and Spanish - excellent written and verbal English communication skills- Ability to travel to the USA and China (10-20% travel required**NOTE**:Please submit copies of your CV in both Spanish and English.**Fictiv is continuing to build our presence in Mexico from our new office in the Monterrey area.****Interested in learning more?
