Job Title: Python Developer ClickIT: DevOps and Software Development is a Cloud and DevOps Agency with almost ten years of experience delivering cloud-based solutions for customers worldwide. This position is for a Python Developer who will help build the next generation of data, modeling, and analytics systems that power our U.S. consumer credit investment platform. Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines. Build analytical workflows using Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake). Optimize and orchestrate large‑scale compute jobs using Amazon Batch. Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs to support data and modeling workflows. Collaborate with the quantitative research team to enhance forecasting algorithms and ML‑driven financial models. Develop and improve ML‑powered financial analytics tools for credit and portfolio insights. Integrate internal systems with FinTech platforms and financial institutions. Use Claude and other LLMs to support automation, data exploration, documentation, and workflow optimization. Ensure reliability, accuracy, and performance across data systems and production pipelines. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across data pipelines, models, and integrations. Write clear, maintainable, and well‑documented code following industry best practices. Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including engineering, research, and product. Qualifications 5+ years of professional software development experience in production environments. Strong proficiency in Python, including data processing, scripting, and backend development. Hands‑on experience with Jupyter Notebooks for exploratory data analysis and modeling. Practical experience working with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, ETL workflows). Solid understanding of MySQL, including schema design, complex queries, and query optimization. Experience managing and optimizing batch and distributed compute workloads using Amazon Batch. Familiarity with Claude or other LLMs for workflow automation, data exploration, and documentation support. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices. Experience building APIs or microservices in Python. Ability to work with cloud‑based infrastructures (AWS preferred). Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities, collaborating effectively with engineering and research teams. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
