**Sustainable Finance Manager****Role Purpose**:In order to achieve climate goals required in this decade, Sustainable Finance plays a key role through financing and investment sustainable development.The Sustainable Finance Manager is responsible for embedding the HSBC sustainable finance and climate strategy within key internal and external key stakeholders, supports the regional team in the development of projects and in business as usual operations, ensures the proper governance and forums to happen, provides information on sustainable finance matters and maintains communication with key internal local and global teams.Principal Accountabilities:**Impact on the Business/Function**- Support in the development of green and sustainable finance products in conjunction with the business- Provide with the necessary materials, training and information to RMs in coordination with the appropriate products and functions- Review and support the process of green and sustainable financing transactions- Coordinate regulators initiatives related to sustainable solutions**Customers / Stakeholders**- Generate forums for clients to cascade down sustainable finance solutions, sectors’ best practices and technologies available to foster the mandate of green and sustainable finance products- Develop materials with SF content.**Leadership & Teamwork**- Lead and ensure the proper teams are involved in the deployment of projects**Operational Effectiveness & Control**- Manage and review the Sustainable Finance reporting and quarterly global results- Ensure the proper documents and governance are in place (i.e. forums Terms of Reference, among others are communicated and followed by team members and main stakeholders)**Major Challenges**:- Provide teams with the appropriate materials and support to increase Sustainable Finance USD KPI- Follow the highest market standards, at the same time that we allow an ease sustainable finance product processes- Effective communication with the Lines of Business and Functions- Engage with teams to efficiently deploy projects**Requirements**:**Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications**:- 2-3 year of experience in the banking sector- Understanding of green/ sustainable finance product recommendations- Interest in climate and sustainable finance- Proficient English and Spanish to communicate professionally (spoken, written, reading)HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and where their opinions count.
