Flex, a Fortune global 500 company, is the diversified manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products that improve the world.We believe in the power of diversity and inclusion and cultivate a workplace culture of belonging that views uniqueness as a competitive edge and builds a community that enables our people to push the limits of innovation to make great products that create value and improve people's lives.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Materials Manager located in, juarez South CampusReporting to the Materials Director the Materials Manager role involvesDirects and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in some or all of the following areas: material planning, distribution, inventory control, material analysis, purchasing and supply chain management by performing the following duties personally or through subordinatesWhat a typical day looks like:- Directs production and inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials storage- Directs production planning and scheduling based on sales forecasts- Function as company purchasing agents for all direct and indirect materials- Directs production and inventory control, shipping and receiving, and materials storage- Directs production planning and scheduling based on sales forecasts- Evaluate suppliers based on delivery speed for their products and services, price, and quality- Negotiate with suppliers for product cost, delivery, and contract parameters- Works with suppliers to schedule delivery of materials, supplies- Maintains inventory levels to ensure deliveries occur within customer timelines- Maintains and ensures accuracy of the inventory- Oversees receiving functions related to purchased parts and incoming supplies- Identifies opportunities to reduce materials and consumable costs and charges- Manages and monitors storage of purchased parts and finished goodsThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:- BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration- Advanced experience in the similar position in Automotive industry- Fluent English- Strong knowledge in production, warehouse, purchasing and planning control.- Experience in the following or similar industries: electronic manufacturing, Industrial Equipment, Automotive.- Direct materials management experience for factories preferred.- Kinaxis knowledge (preferred)- APICS- Ability to work as a team member and/or a team leader if necessary- Excellent organizational and planning skills- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Excellent interpersonal skills and work well with all levels of management and staff- Proficient with inventory reporting systems- Excel advancedWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:- Competitive Salary- Life & Medical insurance- Christmas Bonus- Food Coupons- Saving Fund.- Life InsuranceGR66Job CategoryGlobal Procurement & Supply Chain**Required Skills**:Optional Skills:
