We work with game-changing brands: Crate & Barrel, Popchips, FEED, Olipop, & CALPAK, to name a few.**What you’ll do**:- Lead and mentor the data engineering team, fostering technical growth and collaboration- Architect, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure (Google Cloud preferred)- Manage and build new technical data products for client reporting and cross-departmental collaboration.- Maintain and improve existing our existing client data infrastructure and reporting product, the Flight Plan.- Design and implement data models, ETL processes, microservices, and data warehousing solutions- Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices across all platforms- Optimize data processing for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness- Use AI and automation to optimize data engineering workflows- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver robust data and AI solutions- Oversee data integration from multiple internal and external sources- Recruit, onboard, and develop top data engineering talent- Monitor and report on data platform health, performance, and KPIs- Stay current with industry trends to guide long-term data strategy and innovation**Experience**- 7+ years building and scaling data pipelines in complex environments- Proficient in Python and modern data engineering frameworks- Strong experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred)- Proven track record in architecting and optimizing ETL processes and data warehouses- Experience leading and mentoring data engineering teams- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices- Experience in the advertising or marketing industry is a plus- Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional technical and business teams**What its like to work at Darkroom**:We're building the future of advertising and are looking for the minds to help us do it.
