We work closely with international teams and partners, building technology that makes a difference.The Data Engineer plays a key role in enabling the development of Data Products throughout their lifecycle—whether by sourcing data from raw, ungoverned systems with uncertain analytical value or from well-governed sources already integrated into the company's Data Lake. Data ingestion may occur through batch or stream processing. This role demands strong technical expertise and a hands-on approach, with the ability to design and implement scalable, decoupled, and functional solutions. The Data Engineer collaborates closely with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to automate workflows and build robust, resilient data pipelines.**What to expect in this role + Responsibilities**:Collect large volumes of diverse datasetsCollaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to build robust, resilient data pipelines that feed Data ProductsGather real-world model interaction data to enable ML model retrainingContribute to the design, implementation, and production deployment of data ingestion components for the Data LakeDesign, implement, and maintain ETL pipelinesContinuously design, develop, and test data-driven solutions**Requirements**:5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.Strong programming skills in PythonAdvanced SQL knowledge, including query optimization and performance tuning.Hands-on experience with GCP, especially Big Query and other data processing services.Proven ability to design, optimize, and test scalable data pipelines and architectures.Experience working in UNIX environments, using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.Solid understanding of data structures and data processing challenges.Familiarity with the full ML lifecycle, including prompt engineering and model retraining workflows.Advanced spoken and written English**Nice to have**:Experience with TerraformExperience in building scalable APIsAgility in identifying potential improvements, issues, and solutions in architecturesDevOps culture**Benefits**:100% remoteLong-term commitment, with autonomy and impactStrategic and high-visibility role in a modern engineering cultureCollaborative international team and strong technical leadershipClear path to growth and leadership within CoderioWhy join Coderio?
