The world’s top companies across every major industry trust Teradata to improve business performance, enrich customer experiences, and fully integrate data across the enterprise.What You’ll DoManage and support mission-critical/24x7 public cloud environments for multiple customers.Backup, Archive, and Recovery execution of the cloud-based data warehousesThroughput monitoring, load balancing, and improving the overall system health by optimizing the critical public cloud resourcesWorking with distributed teamsReal-time troubleshooting and problem resolutionWho You’ll Work WithYou will work closely with cross-functional teams, including SRE, DevOps, Product Engineering, Governance, Cloud Service Delivery, and Service Experience Managers.Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure the successful delivery of continuous improvement initiatives and ongoing support of cloud-based systems.Basic knowledge of Public Cloud ServicesBasic knowledge of Linux administration and Shell ScriptingBasic knowledge of any of the RDBMS, like Oracle//DB2/Teradata/OthersGood presentation and communication skillsGood team playerEngineering Graduate or 3-year DiplomaEntry level to a professional job progressionWhat You’ll Bring**Understanding of Cloud Computing**: virtualization technologies, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, and Software as a Service Cloud delivery models and the current competitive landscapeUnderstanding of infrastructure (firewalls, load balancers, hypervisor, storage, monitoring, security, etc.) and experience with orchestration to develop a cloud solution.Understanding of database architecture and modeling, RDMS and No-SQLVMware skillsAny Cloud Certification from either Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud PlatformITIL, CISSP, or other relevant certifications are desirable4 Year Engineering Degree or 3 Year Master of Computer ApplicationExcellent oral and written communication skills in the English languageLI-AD1
