Junior Accountant

OverviewWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant - Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance Department. This position is ideal for someone with a solid accounting foundation who wants to grow within a dynamic finance team.The AP Specialist will be responsible for managing vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments, maintaining proper accounting records, and assisting with reconciliations and month-end close activities. This role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy in financial data management, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to maintain financial integrity.**Key Responsibilities**- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness.- Prepare weekly and monthly payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) and ensure all supporting documentation is complete.- Communicate with vendors regarding billing inquiries, payment status, and discrepancies.- Reconcile vendor statements, accounts payable ledgers, and general ledger accounts.- Review and process employee expense reports in compliance with company policies.- Assist with accruals, journal entries, and preparation of AP-related reports during month-end close.- Maintain organized and accurate records for audit readiness and internal control compliance.- Identify and suggest enhancements to streamline AP workflows and strengthen internal controls.**Qualifications & Education**- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).- 1-3 years of accounting or accounts payable experience.- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup) and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Bilingual (English/Spanish).Pay: $20,000.00 - $22,000.00 per month**Experience**:- AP: 2 years (required)**Language**:- English (required)Work Location: In person
