Job Description:
The Technology Development Program Associate - Mexico is a full-time associate position within an 18-month rotational program, designed as a career accelerator to foster the next generation of leading talent. The program requires participants to be located in Mexico City, with in-person attendance at their assigned location, in accordance with Capital One's hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively on agile teams with diverse and talented colleagues who are ready to take on new and unexpected challenges while building the next wave of engineering solutions
- Current, state-of-the-art technology and tools, including working with a cloud-native stack, building on AWS using technologies like Kubernetes and Serverless
- Technical mentorship and training through meetups, conferences, certifications, and tech talks to build out skillsets on topics such as iOS and Android, AWS, Open Source Big Data tools, Security, Voice Driven Applications, and more
- Exposure to Technology executives and a diverse network of skilled engineers
- The opportunity to rotate roles and work with a variety of tools and technologies and to learn from different leaders throughout the Tech organization

Requirements:
- Intermediate-Advanced English fluency
- A completed Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, System Engineering, Information Technology, or other technical field obtained between December 2023 and August 2025
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced programming skills or experience in one or more of the following areas: Go, Kotlin, Python, Java, HTML, Swift, XML, JSON, UML, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripts, Objective C, C#, C/C++, Perl, .net, asp.net, Visual Basic
- Hands-on technical experience through activities such as technical internship, part-time technical role, STEM teaching assistant, or technical research
