We understand that your life is about more than just work, so we’re committed to a culture that supports your whole life.**Job Description**:We are seeking a highly experienced Solutions Architect with deep experience in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Data Protection, and Configuration Management as it relates to operational resilience.In this role you will lead the effort to plan, design and document technical and process components of our Technology Services resiliency program.This role is key to our Resiliency and Configuration Management effort.What will you do?- Plan, Design, Measure, Document and Implement the roadmap for our Technology Services Resiliency Program- Collaborate across Technology Services and Enterprise business- Improve operational processes and align them to large-scale internal efforts- Play a significant role in long-term planning, including operational excellence- Solve complex problems and develop reusable and extensible patterns and playbooks- Evaluate and document the current state of operational readiness for DR/BC and develop the lifecycle for individual components- Evaluate and document the current CMDB data structure and plan for improvement with a focus on ITSM Practices and DR/BC- Monitor and drive security compliance in accordance with standards, policies and proceduresKnowledge, skills and abilities:- Deep experience in Storage, Backup, Monitoring and ITSM Tooling with a focus on DR/BC- Strong communications skills- Excellent social, planning, documentation, organization, and problem-solving skills- Well developed ability to communicate and collaborate across diverse geographies and business units- Project management skills, ability to coordinate multi-functional resources effectively to achieve objectives- In-depth knowledge of Commvault, Metallic, Rubrik and similar backup platforms-- Strong understanding of CMDB data models and the ServiceNow platform- Use of ITSM standards and standard methodology for implementation in an IT environment.How do you qualify?- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.- Technical certifications desirable- 10+ years IT Operations experience required- Recent experience in a Solutions or Enterprise Architect roleOur ValuesAt F5, we live and breathe our core values, Excellence, Integrity, Collaboration, Customer Dedication, Profitable Growth, Innovation, Employee Success, and Diversity.
