An AWS SME /Solutions Architect to leverage experience and knowledge in a new direction, our Lead AWS Solutions Architect mentor and training position could be for you. The AWS SME/ Solutions Architect will be a cornerstone for the new AWS initiatives.
**How we do it?**
In order to fully maintain our incoming nationwide and international hires, we will be hiring a AWS SME/ Solutions Architect for out Atlanta, GA (US) headquarters to coach/mentor our incoming classes of consultants. If you have a strong passion for the various AWS platforms and are looking to join a seasoned team of IT professionals, this could be an advantageous next step.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**AWS SME / Solutions Architect **will take on the following responsibilities**:
- creation of training material and classes
- marketing and managing resources in the field.
- Guide onboarding consultants with their AWS programming and architecture training
- Play an integral part in preparing and delivering these qualified resources to our clients
- Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our best-in-class AWS training; design training material and syllabuses, create and conduct in-house classes, guiding and mentoring the progress of future consultants’ technical skills to junior, mid-level and senior competency levels
- Develop Consultants’ interview skills by preparing mock interview sessions and role playing before client interviews
- Provide primary technical support for consultants in the field (remote support)
- Interact with the Executive and Sales team to ensure projects and employees are appropriately matched
- Update Executive and Sales team on the continued production and successes of consultants in the field.
- Experience with AWS Cloud Formation Templates
- Experience with AWS EMR & Redshift
- Experience with Hadoop eco system in Cloud (Spark, Hive and HBase etc.)
- Experience with AWS Lambda, Glue, Athena and Stepfunctions
- Experience with Apache NiFi
- Knowledge of AWS Quicksights is a plus
- Knowledge with Cloud container (EKS) services (Kubemetes) is a plus
- Ability to author, maintain, and debug code modules on AWS
- Cloud infrastructure configuration and optimization
- Network management and security for cloud environments (e.g. AWS)
- Automated deployments and source code/configuration management tools
- Re-architecture and design of systems to become cloud native (e.g. AWS Lambda)
- Relational Database administration using SQL and configuration knowledge for the MySQL engine.
- Dev Environment Mgmt - Agile, Scrum, Sprints
