We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Injection Tooling Designer - Outsource, to join our teamFluent in both English and Spanish? Use your bilingual skills to connect and lead across global teams**_ Corporate Profile_****_ About Crestview Partners_****_ Role Responsibilities_**- Utilize CAD software to design and develop injection tooling for various customers, ensuring alignment with project specifications and quality standards.- Conduct feasibility analysis to evaluate the practicality and effectiveness of proposed part designs and customer part concessions.- Manage and coordinate outsourced tooling design partners, emphasizing collaboration and communication.- Review and validate tooling designs from outsourced partners to ensure they meet quality, manufacturing, and functionality requirements.- Provide technical direction and training to outsourced design partners.- Create comprehensive documentation and work instructions for customer and manufacturing reviews.- Collaborate closely with the manufacturing team to ensure seamless integration of design changes into existing tools (e.g., save cut files for floor manufacturing changes).- Work with the Quality team to support continuous improvement efforts and ensure engineering changes are implemented correctly and in alignment with design intent.- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in continuous improvement methodologies and engineering processes, proactively proposing innovative solutions.- Coach and mentor engineers, fostering a culture of problem-solving and innovation.**_Qualifications_**- Fluency in English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the mold-making or plastics industry.- College or University degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.- Proficiency in CAD software, specifically Dassault Systèmes CATIA V5.- Proficiency in business and analytical tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), D365, Teams, etc.- Detail-oriented designer with a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Join our team today and become an integral part of a company that values innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction.
