Our team works together towards common goals, and we value each member's contributions to our mission of continuous improvement and innovation.**About the Role**:***We are looking for a teammate in our IT Department as **Senior IT Technician** located in Guadalajara, Mexico, who will help support and maintain the computer systems and equipment of the organisation, ensuring they run smoothly.**The Quest**:- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.- Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance work.- Setting up and maintaining accounts for staff.- Troubleshooting issues reported by staff.- Checking computer equipment for electrical safety.- Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults.- Repairing equipment and replacing parts.- Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies.- Maintaining records of software licences.**The Skills**:- At least 3-year experience in Tech support.- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.- Knowledge of networking concepts (LAN/WAN), switching & routing.- Knowledge of server administration and operations.- Strong technical, logical, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.- Computer hardware and software- Linux/Unix is a plus.- VMware is a plus.- Windows Server is a plus.- MacOS is a plus.**Personal Traits**:- Patient, meticulous and methodical nature.- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility.- Understanding of business needs and priorities.- Ability to work well under pressure, both individually and as a team.- Enthusiasm and aptitude for continuous learning.**The Reward**:- Opportunities to explore new avenues for collaborations internally, as well as amongst colleagues- People First Culture- Enjoy additional days off, based on Amber's internal policy.- Build your future with us.
