Our business is underpinned by the Edrington values of giving, respect, integrity and excellence.Position SummaryTo be a recognized leader in executions and interactions with customers by embodying Edrington’s commercial excellence principles and luxury behaviours.The Market Manager manages all aspects of the assigned channel(s) within the territory, working closely with their Edrington counterparts and Customer teams, to deliver short-term results and build long-term brand value. Key pillars of the position include Distributor Programming, Brand Building, Pricing Strategy, and excellence in execution. Success in the position will deliver (or over-deliver) against defined annual goals and continued exceptional growth of the Edrington brands including The Macallan, Highland Park, The Famous Grouse, Brugal Rum, Wyoming Whiskey, Brugal and Gin No 3. The Market Manager will also play a key role, (acting as State Lead in some instances) supporting the Area/Regional Manager and working in close collaboration with the distributor partner to shape the business in their territory in all trade channels (focus on/off) and with the Brand Teams.**Job Description**:- Understand the strategic direction for the assigned territory across relevant channels and segments with emphasis on Macallan and Challenger Brands’ activation to support brand development.- Assist in communicating the Strategic Direction and Edrington priorities to Customer Sales Teams at the local level. Instil belief and create buy-in throughout distributor teams.- Work effectively with Marketing team and Operations to deliver against the Strategic Imperatives of the organization, delivering exceptional in market results.- Understand how to optimize allocation of Edrington resources against portfolio brand standards within the assigned territory.- Drive leading global luxury and super premium brands to deliver yearly depletion and profit growth while simultaneously engaging in long term brand building activities.- Accelerate the growth of a Edrington brands with emphasis on top 3 focus brands in local market.- Cultivate new opportunities for a strong core business and optimize customers e-commerce programs.- Deliver against depletion targets, grow brand value to deliver the annual profit plan within the territory.- Capture and report all trade and consumer interactions and. Analyse effectiveness of activities through reporting and impact capabilities.- Customers Management: Build exceptional business relationships, drive brand focus, manage performance & delivery, and provide leading customer service.Competencies- Brand Building: Put the consumer at the heart of the conversation, ensure local marketing plans are exceptionally executed, support all nationally lead activities at the local level, and act as an unwavering brand guardian to support brand health.- Trade & Consumer/Activation: Develop, institute, execute and participate in brand events that align with brand strategy. Assure trade A&P investment on time and according to Brand Plans defined.- Assure WHS depletions by constant communication with On Premise local team to assure stocks and depletions levels- Pricing Management: Understand the local pricing strategy and maintain an active awareness of competitive activity.- Supply Chain & Compliance: Deliver against the allocation strategy, supporting exceptional customer service, and ensure legal compliance across the assigned territory.Skills and Experience- Kam or equivalent work experience 3+ years’ experience in a fast-growing FMCG environment, Alcohol Beverage Industry experience is highly desirable or luxury brand experience.- Passion for super premium brown spirits (Scotch, Rum, Bourbon, Gin)- High English level- Motivated self-starter, gregarious personality, articulate, charismatic, polished, and professional.- Ability to manage a broad network of internal and external partners.- Entrepreneurial mind-set and a positive attitude when faci
