GlideFast Consulting - Platform Architect - Mexico Description As a Platform Architect with GlideFast Consulting, you will work on our internal ServiceNow instance to support the development and architecture needs of our internal teams. The Platform Architect will play a pivotal role in overseeing the overall architectural design and delivery assurance, collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders to translate requirements and ideas into sound technical solutions. Responsibilities include providing administration, application development, maintenance, and technical support, utilizing best practice web programming techniques to configure robust solutions on our ServiceNow platform. Description As a Platform Architect with GlideFast Consulting, you will work on our internal ServiceNow instance to support the development and architecture needs of our internal teams. The Platform Architect will play a pivotal role in overseeing the overall architectural design and delivery assurance, collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders to translate requirements and ideas into sound technical solutions. Responsibilities include providing administration, application development, maintenance, and technical support, utilizing best practice web programming techniques to configure robust solutions on our ServiceNow platform.Responsibilities * Create expert level JavaScript and ServiceNow JavaScript API's * Write/create custom business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, ACL’s, data policies, UI scripts * Lead and participate in development effort of solutions in the following specializations:* ServiceNow Mainline Application(s) preferably HRSD and PPM * Custom Application Development (Scoped Applications) * 3rd Party Integrations Development (REST, SOAP, MID Servers, or other additional products) * Service Portal (HTML, CSS, AngularJS, SASS, Bootstrap)* Create overall technical architecture, including design documentation and process flows, for GlideFast’s internal ServiceNow instance that fills stakeholder’s requirements * Deliver measurable, positive results within the team’s timeline resulting in positive feedback and measurable results* Build on current platform knowledge by learning new modules and broadening skillset * Utilize strong communication, presentation, and writing skills * Maintain current certifications, keep up to date on all Delta releases * Maintain professionalism and an uninterrupted work environment during all meetings and interactions * Continue learning service delivery solutions, technologies and methodologies * Uphold excellent time management and organizational skills with an aptitude toward creative problem-solving. * Provide relevant expertise in Centers of Excellence (COE) * Provide interview support as neededQualifications * 3+ years delivering/architecting technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform * Expertise with configuration and customization of solutions in the following specializations:* ServiceNow Mainline Applications- ITSM, HR, PPM * Service Portal (HTML, CSS, AngularJS, SASS, Bootstrap) * ServiceNow Application Development (Scoped Applications) * 3rd Party Integrations Development (REST, SOAP, MID Servers, other additional products)* Expertise with JavaScript and ServiceNow JavaScript API's * Working proficiency in the following skills are encouraged:* Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON knowledge * Practical knowledge or experience with Operating Systems (Linux, Windows) * Thorough knowledge of networking concepts such as IP Addressing, Firewalls, ports * Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle) * Experience in multiple application architectures and supporting technologies * Experience with scripting languages such as PERL, JavaScript, Python, and Shell* Strong technical problem solving skills resulting in process and organizational improvements * Strong knowledge in ITIL foundation is required * Be a great leader and team player with a record of accomplishment in managing multiple complex tasks * Thorough working knowledge in IT Operations Management or IT Service Management is critical* Self-motivated, disciplined professional able to function as a true business leader with a record of accomplishment in managing multiple complex tasks * Uphold excellent time management and organizational skills with an aptitude toward creative problem-solving * High proficiency with the English language: written, reporting, verbal/oral communication skills; must be an effective presenter * Excellent communication skills required- verbally with customers and all levels of the business, as well as written with technical assessments and project related reports * Proven troubleshooting skills * Remain innovative, creative, and self-directed * Continue learning service delivery solutions, technologies, and methodologies. * Maintain professionalism and an uninterrupted work environment during all meetings and interactionsCertifications / Education * ServiceNow Certified System Administrator * ServiceNow Certified Application Developer preferred * ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist: HRSD preferred * Additional ServiceNow Mainline Implementation Certifications a plus * ITIL v3 or v4 Certification preferredThe starting pay range for this role is $0.00 - $0.00.Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors,including actual work location,relevant experience (internal or external),technical skills, and other qualifications.
