**Full Stack Engineer**The Navigation team builds convenient, simple, and personalized tools and experiences that help members with a broad range of needs they encounter across their healthcare experience. From understanding insurance plans and coverage to managing appointments and medications to understanding claims and getting help with bills, to finding the right healthcare provider and benefit, we take what is painful and disconnected about healthcare, and turn it into a seamless, personalized, and empowering experience that makes it easier for our members to make good decisions and get the best possible care.As a **Full Stack Engineer**, you will develop and maintain our product and services that enable millions of users to navigate to the next step in their healthcare journey. Your contributions will have a direct impact on our team's and company's mission.You'll have ample opportunity to independently lead up projects that have a high impact on our members. You will also be expected to be a key participant and driver of technical debates regarding new technologies, service architecture, and high-leverage ways to reduce and maintain tech debt, as well as executing those efforts. You'll get to lead cross-team efforts, mentor your team members, and establish engineering best practices.You'll be great for this role if you love delivering delightful experiences for users, celebrate end-to-end ownership, and enjoy collaborating with your colleagues in engineering, product, design, and data science. You'll also be a great fit if you enjoy full-stack development but tend to get more excited about the backend, service architecture design, and domain-driven data modeling.**Role Responsibilities**- Build out our navigation experiences across the frontend experience and backend services.- Help us evolve and improve the architecture, performance, and operability of our systems.- Drive features and products through the full development lifecycle.- Collaborate with tight-knit teams - teach us what you know and learn from us.- Build systems that support privacy and security for sensitive personal and medical data.- Mentor other engineers on a variety of topics: engineering standard methodologies (coding, frameworks, architecture, CI/CD), project management (task planning), and career growth**Qualifications**- Proven full-stack development and leadership experience- Experience with (and fondness for) automated testing- Deep experience with Ruby, Scala/Java, GO, or Python- Experience modeling data in relational and non-relational datastores- Analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills- Modeling real-world data in both RDBMS and NoSQL persistence layers- Experience in our current technologies is a bonus: Ruby, Rails, Javascript, React, GraphQL, Docker, AWS**Additional Perks**- Competitive salary- Remote work option with home internet allowance- Healthcare insurance (medical, dental, and vision)- Savings fund- Food coupons, Christmas bonus- 25 Total days off first year (Vacation, Sick, PTO)- 50% Vacation premium- Education stipend**About Nimble Gravity**Nimble Gravity is a team of outdoor enthusiasts, adrenaline seekers, and experienced growth hackers.
