**Job Details**We are hiring an FP&A Sr. Analyst in our business center. This individual will act as the Financial Planning business partner and will be spear-heading the financial quarterly forecasts, annual budgeting and outlook processes for the R&D function of the **Fire Suppression $1.3B in revenue business **. This position is also responsible to consolidate the explanations on GISC reporting and VCOS analytics partnering with the Ops controllers and supporting the different Plant controllers. S/he will provide financial support to senior management including preparing financial presentations, analysis and other projects requested. This function acts as the analytical engine to provide insights and support ‘optimal’ business decision making as well as the link to operationalize GP HQ requirements with the PBU.This position reports directly into the FSP FP&A Manager in the CoE and dotted line to the FSP PBU Controller.**Position Responsibilities**:- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue of GM below standard margin and full responsibility on the R&D Financials- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance, providing insights and decision making support to the business- Drive the financial quarterly and monthly forecast (flash), annual budget and outlook processes for the R&D function- Provide Financial support evaluating the different R&D projects through the many tollgate reviews providing summarized views for decision making to the FSP PBU controller- Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes- Supporting Senior Management FSP Team heads with in-depth R&D analysis- Prepare presentations to the Senior leadership team within FSP- Generates and ensures all GP HQ reporting and deliverables are met timely and accurately and bridges aligned with expectations for both variances and other cost of sales and R&D on a consolidated FSP level.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or Engineering- 6+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, cost accounting and projects evaluation- Strong customer and business orientation and desire to develop business acumen- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Hyperion Enterprise and Essbase knowledge highly required.- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.- Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to influence across the organization. Comfortable working in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment- Fluent in English- Johnson Controls does not request pregnancy or HIV testing as a requirement for admission, permanence or promotion. _LI-JC1
