At STERIS, we help our Customers create a healthier and safer world by providing innovative healthcare and life science product and service solutions around the globe.**Position Summary**:Controls and manages over $40 M in stores and work in process inventory and $200 M in net shipments by developing and inputting to the MRP system the Master Production Plan as derived from the market forecast, customer orders and trend analysis. Accountable for managing the inventory for assigned product lines. The position entails developing daily/weekly/monthly manufacturing schedules, scheduling sales orders, interfacing with the International offices, sales representatives, Customer Service Reps, Purchasing, Marketing, Engineering, and Manufacturing to meet our Customers needs. Thorough knowledge of product lines, product structures and MRP and Oracle systems required.**Duties**:- Inputs planning data into the material plan that best meets the Market Forecast, stocking levels, inventory objectives and Customer requirements for assigned products. Manages inventory and maintains its integrity for assigned products to meet the Company’s and the Material Department objectives.- Schedule sales orders in Oracle to availability, SSQ lead-time and to best meet customer’s requirements.- Provide back-up support for other Planners during their absence.- Work with Customer Sales Support to resolve scheduling issues as well as Manufacturing to resolve any Purchasing and Production issues.- Participate in new products implementation and handle Phase-In/Phase out planning for their products that will assist in minimizing obsolete inventory and provide a smooth timely product implementation.- Resolve daily MRP problems, including identifying product structure problems, input and other errors.7. Deliver excellent customer service on the Field to support strong customer satisfaction in the STERIS brand.- Participate in special projects aimed at improving the overall efficiency/effectiveness of various Planning functions.**Required Experience**:- APICS Certification (Desirable)- Five (5) to seven (7) years experience with MRP working with computerized planning, inventory and production control systems.- Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning and Master Planning.- Previous experience with Oracle or similar manufacturing systems- Billingual- Bachelor´s Degree**Skills**:- Demonstrated excellent organizational, oral and written communications skills and the ability to interface effectively with all levels of the company.- Demonstrated ability to work with a large amount of detailed data and maintain accuracy under time constraints in a multiple task, multiple priority environment.**Working Conditions**:Location: Guadalupe, Nuevo Leon.STERIS is a leading provider of products and services that meet the needs of growth areas within Healthcare: procedures, devices, vaccines and biologics.
