Astrohoopz is a fast-growing sports media agency focusing on basketball and sports content across Texas. We are seeking a creative **Front-End Graphic Designer & Developer** to join our team remotely. You will work closely with our main developer to improve the user interface (UI) of our mobile app, which is currently hosted on Firebase and soon to be launched on the Apple App Store.As part of the team, your primary focus will be on **designing and developing a smooth, intuitive, and visually engaging UI**, ensuring that the app offers the best user experience for our community of athletes, coaches, and fans. You’ll play a key role in shaping the app’s front-end, allowing our back-end developer to concentrate on the server-side functionality.**Responsibilities**:- **UI/UX Design**: Collaborate with the development team to improve the look and feel of the app's interface. Focus on creating an intuitive and visually appealing user experience.- **Front-End Development**: Work on developing responsive and interactive front-end components using web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React preferred).- **Mobile App Optimization**: Ensure the app runs smoothly on iOS and future Android platforms by optimizing mobile-friendly designs.- **Wireframing & Prototyping**: Assist in creating wireframes and prototypes to visualize design concepts.- **Cross-Platform Consistency**: Ensure the UI is consistent across different devices and screen sizes.- **Collaborative Development**: Work closely with our back-end developer to integrate UI changes with app functionality.Qualifications:- Proficient in **HTML, CSS, JavaScript**, and **React** (or similar frameworks).- Strong **graphic design skills** with experience in tools like **Adobe Creative Suite** (Illustrator, Photoshop, XD, etc.).- Experience in **UI/UX design** and a strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work.- **Experience with Firebase** and app development is a plus.- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure high-quality design and user experience.- Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively with a distributed team.- Strong communication skills and the ability to take feedback constructively.Preferred:- Familiarity with mobile app development for both iOS and Android platforms.- Experience working with sports-related media or apps is a bonus.Why Join Us?- **Exciting Growth Opportunity**: Work with a rapidly growing sports agency and be part of shaping a next-generation sports app.- **Remote Work Flexibility**: Enjoy a flexible work schedule, collaborating with a dynamic team from anywhere.- **Professional Development**: Gain experience with cutting-edge technologies and build your portfolio while contributing to real-world projects.To Apply:Submit your resume, portfolio, and any relevant work samples that demonstrate your skills in UI/UX design and front-end development.
