**Job Description Summary**: The Senior Finance Manager - ERP Finance will work on an SAP clone initiative supporting all the SLO (system landscape optimization) phases to enable a full and solid integrations with the GE accounting and reporting requirements.The Senior Finance Manager - ERP Finance will also support ad hoc system enhancements executions by monitoring the user request process and in coordination with all involved IT/operations teams participating in the enhancements.Experience in the SAP Manufacturing, Repairs shops and/or Drives and Control business as well as SLO/Clone previous exposure will be considered as a competitive advantage.**Roles and Responsibilities**- Participate to all phases of the SAP clone/SLO process taking full accountability on the system set up and the subsequent financial accuracy and reporting.- Lead the analysis, requirement gathering, development, design, documentation, implementation and maintenance of automated technical and functional solutions to improve business outcomes.- Initiate and agree with the relevant stakeholders and execute constant and standard systems and process improvements generating incremental operational cost savings.- Layout the SAP training strategy and execution to ensure the finance and operation users maximize the system automation and capabilities reducing manual efforts.- Establish an operating rhythm with the finance business stakeholders ensuring KPIs and monthly close objectives are met.- Drive compliance and accountability for the execution of all financial transactions, including the ERP lifecycle, to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.- Support, advise, assist, guide, and resolve problems for business leaders and users- Work closely with IT COE to resolve issues, design solutions, and implement processes to enhance the tools- Act as a change agent for business processes- Initiate direct communication with specific customers, clients, suppliers and finance personnel- Prepare and present project plans, status reports, cost / benefit studies and recommend funding and resources**Required Qualifications**- Previous understanding of the Manufacturing ERP capabilities, KPIs and automation opportunities- Knowledge of SAP financial modules related to manufacturing, repairs shop, project accounting, Sales orders as well as Fulfillments processes and GTM.- Strong oral and written communication skills.- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.- Demonstrated ability to detect, analyze and resolve problems in isolation and in partnership with the Business.- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.- Established project management skills.- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related programs from accredited schools- Previous experiences in complex migrations/ERP clones**Desired Characteristics**- Proven experience in finance management,- Strong Analytical skills,- Strong communication skills,- Strong leadership skills,- Proven experience in people management,- Excellent interpersonal skills,- Excellent English both spoken and written,- Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals,- Compliance oriented,- Proficiency in finance data presentation,- Work time flexibility during quarter and year end
