Descripción y detalle de las actividades**Job Summary**:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Ocean Freight Coordinator** to support our global shipping operations. In this role, you will assist with the end-to-end coordination of ocean freight shipments, ensuring timely and accurate documentation, proactive communication with carriers, and effective collaboration across departments. You’ll work closely with the Senior Ocean Specialist and logistics team to deliver seamless international shipping execution.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-3 years of logistics experience who is looking to build a career in global transportation.**Key Responsibilities**:**Shipment Coordination**:- Book and track Full Container Load (FCL) and Less-than-Container Load (LCL) shipments.- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely transport and delivery.**Documentation & Systems**:- Prepare and verify Bills of Lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and other shipping documents.- Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation in internal and third-party platforms.**Communication**:- Serve as a liaison between carriers, suppliers, internal departments, and external partners.- Proactively flag delays or operational issues to the Senior Ocean Specialist.**Operational Support**:- Follow up on delivery confirmations and resolve logistics-related issues (e.g., port delays, missed cut-offs).- Assist with reporting and performance tracking of logistics partners.**Data Management**:- Monitor real-time shipment milestones through carrier portals and tracking systems.- Enter and manage shipment data with attention to accuracy and timing.Experiência y requisitos**Qualifications**:- 1-3 years of experience in ocean freight coordination or international logistics.- Basic understanding of Incoterms, documentation, and ocean freight processes.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).- Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics platforms (preferred).- Bilingual Spanish/English.- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.**Preferred**:- Experience with freight forwarders or customs brokers.- Familiarity with customs clearance procedures or import/export documentation.Beneficios- Beneficios de acuerdo a la LFT- fondo de ahorro- servicios médicos en planta- comedor**Número de vacantes** 1**Área** Logística/Transporte**Contrato** Permanente**Modalidad** Presencial**Turno** Diurno**Jornada** Tiempo Completo**Horario**- Tiempo completo- Lunes a viernes- Tuno de 10 horas**Estudios** Carrera con título profesional**Inglés**Hablado: Avanzado, Escrito: Avanzado**Disponibilidad p. viajar** No
