Protection is our primary concern as millions of people around the world depend on Ansell in their professional and personal lives.**GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION**- The Customs Trade Compliance Department is responsible for complying with all laws and regulations for trade in Mexico, documents such as Invoices, BL and PL are reviewed to make sure they are correct then we share the correct commercial information of the product to the Customs Broker through a Letter of Instructions in Excel determining our correct HTS and description of the product, we make the relevant letters for clearance (3.1.8, Art. 54 and our UVA letter), Pedimentos are reviewed before payment to verify that the information is correct, however, we keep up our contact with our Verification Unit where we enforce our NOMS labeling.- Other activities for which the Ansell Trade Compliance team is responsible is to keep our electronic and physical records up to date for compliance with laws as well as any audits that may be performed.- This position reports to the Manager, Logistics Supply Chain Trade Compliance LAC.- Basic functions:- Document review (invoices, BL, PL, and CPTPP)- Made letters of instructions and corresponding letters for the import.- Review of Proformas- Review of Certificates of Origin- Made Dictamenes UVA- Update and keep up to date the physical and electronic files.- ART 81.**Peer Positions** **(Positions that are comparable to the job)- Customs Specialist**Direct Reports (Position Title)****Indirect Reports (Position Title)**- Manager, Logistics- N/A**RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES**- Have the operation (imports) up to date and in compliance with all legal requirements.- o Review documents to make sure that all information is complete and correct.- o Make letters of instruction and share with Customs Broker.- o Review proforma- o Make folios UVA- Physical and electronic file audit.- o Upload to Ana all documents relevant to the audit.- o Print HC and MV- o Scan and send HC and MV to Customs Brokers- Certificates of Origin- o Review Certificates of Origin- o Compilation of physical certificates of all operations to which they were applied.- Revision to ART. 81 Tax Invoice vs Commercial Invoice- o To have updated the differences between Tax invoices vs. Commercial invoices- o Correct payments.- o Orders with superior differences- o Orders with minor differences- Any other actitiy related to the Customs Clearance and Trade Compliance within the department, to fullfill all the legal requirements for the Certifications from SAT and to maintain the Importerd of Records under the regulations and import / export activities on time.**KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS****Education**- International trade / business degree**Job Experience**- At least 2 years of relevant experience in Customs Compliance.- Experience with VUCEM- Experience with SOIA- Experience with ANA- Experience on how to review a Pedimento- Experience of the HTS- Experience on labels NOMS- At least 3 years experience working with Customs Brokers.**Knowledge and Skills**- Good English (written and spoken).- Good MS Excel skills.**Desirable Job Competencies**- Strong analytical skills- Good planning skills with proactive approach- Good communication and interpersonal skills- Autonomous- Good organizational skills and stress-resistant- Good priority management- Drive for results- Team spirit- Problem solving- Able to work in a multicultural environment**Primary Location**: Mexico-Queretaro-Queretaro**Job**: Supply Chain**Organization**: Commercial Americas**Schedule**: Full-time**Job Type**: Standard**Job Level**: Associate**Job Posting**: Dec 3, 2024, 1:01:28 PM
