Overview:The buyer will be responsible for supporting category analysis, processing RFx and Purchase Orders and negotiating with suppliers. This position will support the management of low to high complex categories by analyzing reporting and research, maintaining database information and executing tasks and projects in an efficient and timely manner.Job Qualifications:**Skills**:- Effectively communicates ideas in written and verbal communication- Strong analytical skills- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)- Ability multi-task various projects and achieve timely results by effectively and efficiently prioritizing tasks and projects- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Team player with ability to work with internal clients and vendors- Good listening skills one-on-one and in groups- Ability to express personal point of view in a constructive and direct mannerLanguages:- Intermediate in English**Experience**:- 1 years of sourcing/purchasing/supply chain experience (MARKETING SERVICES)- Experience with vendor selection and negotiation**Education**:- Associates Degree- Bachelor’s degreePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Working knowledge of sourcing policies and processes- 2 years of sourcing/purchasing/supply chain experience- English Proficiency desirable- Awareness of project management- Awareness of lean methodology- Awareness of ERP and/or iProcurement (Oracle) desirable, or another e-procurement environment- Bachelor’s Degree- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
