We are driven by a common purpose to make a positive impact for each other, our communities, and the environment.**JOB SUMMARY**Assist supervisor to ensure the company's compliance, prepare strategies to dispose scrap correctly with out risks for the company.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**- Provide guidance and support to the different engineering areas derived from the necessity to send parts or materials to recycling supplier.- Identify problems and provide several alternatives for the solution and communicate timely to the supervisor about scrap materials.- Assist Supervisor to maintain VAT and AEO certifications in compliance, making reports and other activities.- Audit the documentary files of the foreign trade operations and ensure that the internal processes, procedures, and documentation are in accordance with local custom legislations.- Perform the complete capture of pediments to change the temporal status to definitive operations on import - export system.- Support the team in case of external auditory.- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.- Follows all company safety policies and other safety precautions within the work area. Ensures compliance with Environmental Management System (EMS) responsibilities. Is his/her responsibility to comply with Company policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal regulations of the countries related to customs and trade compliance activity.**JOB QUALIFICATIONS****KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS**- General knowledge of Trade Compliance - Mx Customs current legislation.- Demonstrate initiative, positive attitude, professional mannerisms, and commitment to personal, team and company goals.- Strong and convincing communication skills.**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**- Bachelor's in international business Degree, Foreign Affairs or related.- Experience in Trade Compliance and customs operations (Desire but not necesary)- Consistently work in a team environment.- Knowledge of current customs legislation, Tariff and no tariff regulations, AEO and C-TPAT, Maquila operations and different programs that comes from IMMEX as Prosec and 8th Rule benefits or other foreign commerce programs.- Capable of doing Data Stage monthly reports.- Strong analytical skills.- Strong problem-solving skills.- Written and spoken skills in both English and Spanish languages.**Jabil, including its subsidiaries, is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identify, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
