**Job Summary**:This position is for a Technical Solutions Engineer, in the Technical Solutions Support team for the Acuity DigitalLighting Components group (DLC).**Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)**:Sales Win:- Technical Sales support and Design-InSolutions:- Interoperability development and testing- Content creation - Solution Guides, DVP, White Papers, Sales Collateral and DocumentationTech Service:- Case resolution management (Salesforce tools)- Knowledgebase development- Troubleshooting, RMA avoidance**Education (minimum education required)**:- Bachelor of Engineering**Experience (minimum experience required)**:- Lighting Controls - DALI, DMX, 0-10V, Wireless protocols, Emergency Power, IoT, BACnet, App based- Lighting Components - Power Electronics, LED driver, EM battery driver, sensors, LED light engine- Lighting/controls compliance - UL, ENEC, NEC, FCC, T24, Energy Star, DLC- Interoperability - Lighting Control Systems, Sensors, Drivers, EM, LED Light engines, Wireless, IoT- Field Support - remote troubleshooting and problem solving- Testing protocols - Troubleshooting interoperability, Fault/failure analysis- Use of lab testing equipment - Oscilloscope, Thermal, RF, EMI, power- National and International travel for Sales and Trade Show support**Preferred Experience (i.e. industry experience)**:- Minimum 2 years of experience- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work well in a highly cross-functional environment- Excellent English and Spanish communication skills. Ability to simplify and explain complex technicalissues.- Ability to travel nationally and internationally as needed.- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce CRM & Service Cloud preferred.We value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
