The ADAS SW Senior Staff engineer will define the roadmap and quote feasibility and profitability for upcoming business opportunities for Cameras products and systems.**Responsibilities**:- Execute quotation for upcoming business opportunities.- Obtain, collect and summarize the stakeholder requests (RFQ Data) in Quote documentation and support disciplines to define quotation approach.- Support the technical quotation kick-off meeting and present the result of the quote strategy.- Perform Short RE engineering as an initial review for all stakeholder documents as well as collect stakeholder needs and constraints to reduce the risk of quotation.- Decide System product variant as well as decide roadmap compliance and deviation for the product.- Create Customer information concerning technical assumptions.- Create Engineering cost estimation concept.- Create Bill of Material.- Provide realistic timing schedule sample plan- Identify technologies with IPD (Intellectual Property Department)- Handover of strategy to development team.- Support architecture, integration or development activities for running projects when quotations deliverables are completed.**Job Requirements**:Necessary requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related.- 6 years professional experience in SW Programming or Automotive electronic products or systems- Knowledge in AUTOSAR Classic- Software skills using C language- Capability to analyze problems and to develop appropriate solutions.- Capability to abstract and simplify.- Experience in project quotations.- Knowledge in Ethernet and CAN technologies- Deeply embedded SW development knowledge. (Memory Management, OS, Multicore handling)- Good communication, team and presentation skills- Willingness to work in a distributed global team environment- Willingness to travel (< 10% of the time) to support knowledge transfer and global coordination of activitiesDesired requirements- Master's degree on Electrical Engineer/ SW development / Embedded Systems or related- Experience in Automotive Electronics- Familiar with Freescale, Texas Instruments Micros- Knowledge in AUTOSAR adaptive.- Experience in SW planning- Knowledge in Cameras products in Continental.
