GFI fosters a work culture that promotes happiness, teamwork, trust, work-life balance and success for our employees.**Responsibilities**- Entering complex invoices into our accounting system- Obtaining approvals for invoices- Investigating discrepancies in invoices- Validation and booking of supplier invoices- Matching invoices with Purchase Orders (PO)- Obtaining appropriate approvals for non-PO invoices- Fund Request and Payments processing- Handling supplier and Site queries relating to payables- Processing Travel Expense Reports- AP month-end closing and reporting- Maintaining historical records by microfilming and filing documents- Involvement in data cleansing activity and data ownership transfer- Tracking actual costs vs budget- Other responsibilities as required or assigned**Qualifications**- Minimum of 1 years of bookkeeping experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience- Post-secondary education in bookkeeping, or similar- Good command of accounting knowledge- Past bookkeeping experience with a public company is an asset- Sage knowledge will be an added advantage- Strong verbal and written English communication skills- Proficient in MS Office (with strong excel skills)- Phone - - Mail - 43 Colborne St, Suite 400, Toronto, ON M5E 1E3Ability to commute/relocate:- Mexico C.P. 83148, Mexico C.P. : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)Application Question(s):- What are your salary expectations?Work Location: In person
