Job Description- Under limited supervision, plans, schedules, and /or control of designated materials flow.- Interface with multiple departments to coordinate smooth materials flow.- Monitor scheduled vs. actual activity for variances; investigate causes and make recommendations resolution.- Analyze regular reports and identify problem areas. Makes recommendations for resolutions.- Accurately maintain scheduling/materials flow data on Bose MRP system (SAP).- Conducts project analysis to assess materials flow accuracy and process- Interview and recommend sources of supply analyze quotes and provide feedback to appropriate commodity leader when required.- Schedule deliveries by creating scheduling agreements/purchase orders as needed and follow-up shipments to expedite deliveries.- Keep inventory levels according to plant budget and policies.- Maintain records and files for efficient operation.- Other Duties as assigned.
