Come, join us on this journey****British American Tobacco Mexico** **has an exciting opportunity for a Legal Intern In Monterrey****Your key responsibilities will include**:- Manage and coordinate the Integrity Screening tool, ensuring all third parties are onboarded, accessible and up to date.- Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts across various functions.- Work with legal and business teams to ensure third parties comply with company policies, legal requirements, and best practices.- Act as a business partner between Legal and other business units, fostering effective communication and alignment on legal matters.- Identify opportunities to streamline legal processes, reduce risks and enhance efficiency through creative legal solutions.- Analyze laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide recommendations and insights that mitigate legal risks and promote compliance- Maintain accurate and organized legal documentation- Provide legal support and assistance to the legal team as needed, including preparing legal documents, presentations, and reports.**What are we looking for?**- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities- At least one year of experience in a Company or Legal Firm as well as Internship Legal Programmes. (desirable)- Strong analytical, research and communication skills- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a dynamic business environment- Understanding of contract law, corporate governance, and company secretarial- Proactive and willing to have continuous development. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and be able to work with tight deadlines- Strong experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, DocuSign (desirable)- Fluent English: written and speaking.
