Engineering Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:Productivity/Efficiency KPI ManagementCVG Operating SystemCVG Culture (5E) - Ethics, Execution, Engagement, Enterprise, and ExcellenceAMOSConnectivitySupport the implementation of the Microsoft D365 ERP systemImplement Operational Excellence (OPEX) toolsProductivity Continuous Improvement Leader- Align sales vs. process capacity considering: demand leveling, PQPR, processes, available time, Takt Time, Cycle Time, required Headcount, manufacturing model (Project, Batch, OPF, Line and/or Conveyor), Kanban, and flow.- Participate in hour-by-hour meetings, identify opportunities, generate 80/20 PARETO analysis, and establish continuous improvement actions.- Develop workstation analysis (AST), ergonomic analysis, and define improvement actions.- Design, implement, and improve workstations, QPS/CTQ, and establish preventive controls such as Poka-Yoke, SPC, FMEA, and Control Plan.- Conduct cost analysis (material, OH, labor) and provide improvement recommendations.- Perform layout and spaghetti diagram analysis.- Manage continuous improvement using tools such as: VOC, KPI’s, 80/20 PARETO, GEMBA Walk, KAIZEN Ideas, VSM, Benchmarking, and Innovation Pilot Line.- Manage projects and capital investments.- Support NPI/ECN during production launch, validation, and release.7. ManagePlan: Develop annual, monthly, weekly, and daily operational engineering plans.Organize: Maintain organizational chart and job descriptions.Lead: Provide leadership, communication, teamwork, change management, recognition, and motivation.Control: Manage time (TDM), Standards (SW), KPIs, Charts, 80/20 PARETO, and Action Matrix (Master Dot).8. Develop leadership, administrative, and functional competencies within the team9. Solve problems and drive improvements10.
