WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH Bain Capability Network (BCN)Private Equity Group (PEG) CoE provides specialized support to global teams across the private equity value chain, enabling clients to make key investment decisions. Our expertise lies in addressing critical diligence questions through a range of products such as survey analytics, digital diagnostic, workforce analytics and disruption assessment. Our teams work in a fast-paced environment delivering consistent and impactful results at scale. In the last decade, we have witnessed an exponential growth, reaching ~200 members in 2021 from ~10 members in 2013. We operate across all three regions (APAC, EMEA and Americas) from our 3 office locations – India, Poland and Mexico. We work across industries, including Technology, Consumer Products, Retail and Healthcare. BCN PEG provides an opportunity to solve challenging business problems in a dynamic set-up working closely with global Bain teams, acting as a thought-partner with daily deliverables. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSOCIATE As an Associate, you are responsible for completing deliverables assigned to you, while ensuring zero defects. You must actively participate in and contribute towards brainstorming of solutions, work planning and conducting thorough quality checks of work done by other team members, if needed. You must keep the project leader/ Manager updated on the case progress while at the same time highlighting roadblocks. You could also be responsible for communicating insights and present answers derived from analysis to case and/or practice teams WHAT YOU'LL DO End-to-End Survey Own end-to-end survey projects including questionnaire design, coding, fieldwork coordination, data cleaning, and analysis Analyze survey data to create reports which translate findings into clear and actionable insights Primary Qualitative Research Plan the primary research by recommending and onboarding right panels, coordinate the calls slots with the external and internal stakeholders, draft and manage notes from the calls etc. Conduct primary research interviews and calls with senior stakeholders (e.g., CXOs, functional leaders, industry experts) and synthesize the insights Secondary Research Conduct rigorous secondary research using public, paid, and internal sources Analyze industry reports, company filings, market data, and expert perspectives Build structured viewpoints on markets, competitors, customers, and trends Insight Synthesis & Communication Support case teams and stakeholders through detailed data analysis, translating findings into clear, data-driven insights and well-structured hypotheses to inform decision-making Create high-quality presentations, dashboards, and written outputs by leveraging rigorous data analysis and synthesizing insights across project workstreams to directly address key hypotheses Team management Take responsibility of their workstream and conduct analysis independently along with managing 1- 3 analysts Perform thorough quality checks in their work including pressure-testing the insights Support the supervisor in work-planning and brainstorming on key recommendations/potential impact Motivate team members, boost team morale and exhibit role model behavior Facilitate cross-sharing of learning/knowledge and tools within and across teams Leverage opportunities to provide training, coaching and mentoring to fellow team members ABOUT YOU Undergraduate degree (engineering, business, commerce, economics) with 2–4 years of relevant experience, or an MBA/postgraduate with 0–3 years of relevant experience (consulting background preferred) Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Learning agility to internalize new ways of working, pick new analytical tools, and adapt to ever changing project expectations and client needs Ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate clearly, and present to senior stakeholder Experience in databases such as Thomson Reuters, CapitalIQ , Factiva and D&B preferred Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, SPSS and AI tools is a plus Excellent written and spoken English (C1/C2 level) Please submit your CV/resume in English to ensure your application is considered. #J-18808-Ljbffr
