In this role, you will oversee the manufacturing operations of automation equipment designed by the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, quality control, on-time delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals.This role will be working 100% onsite in our plant in Apodaca, NL (Aeropuerto)**Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)**:- Lead and manage the Test Equipment Manufacturing Center and automation equipment, ensuring efficient execution of production processes and meeting quality and delivery targets.- PM tasks making Gantts, plans and follow up the plans to close in commitments dates.- Develop and implement production plans aligned with business objectives, balancing resources, timelines, and capacity constraints.- Ensure seamless collaboration between the design and manufacturing teams to effectively transition test equipment from concept to production.- Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and performance monitoring, to drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness.- Establish and maintain high-quality manufacturing standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, technical issues, and other obstacles that may impact production efficiency.- Manage a team of manufacturing technicians, assemblers, and engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional development.- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as cycle time, yield rates, downtime, and operational efficiency.- Support cost-reduction efforts while maintaining product quality and operational effectiveness.- Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and longevity of manufacturing equipment.- Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, and logistics teams to optimize material flow and ensure timely availability of components.- Champion workplace safety by ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.**Skills and Minimum Experience Required**:- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.- Fully Bilingual (English & Spanish)- Proven experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment, preferably related to test equipment, automation, or precision assembly.- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean methodologies, and quality control systems.- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive process improvements, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.- Experience working with ERP/MES systems for production planning and tracking.- Proficiency in manufacturing tools such as PFMEA, Control Plans, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with design, engineering, and business teams.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions to optimize manufacturing performance.- Experience with automation, assembly processes, and testing methodologies is a plus.- Familiarity with industry standards and certifications related to test equipment manufacturing.This role offers a dynamic opportunity to lead a key manufacturing center, ensuring the seamless production of high-quality test equipment.
