Senior Software Engineer – Cloud & Payments Infosys Location Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico Job Overview This role requires demonstrating excellence in software development practices performed by Scrum teams. Responsibilities Programming expertise in C# .NET. Participate in data and query analysis using PL/SQL and NoSQL databases. Proficient in new feature development, automation testing, and implementation of security controls. Develop product features for web applications, API services, and integration workflows with payment service providers (Stripe, Adyen, ACI worldwide, Paymentus). Experience working with digital wallet or financial transaction applications that secure and process payment information in the cloud. Migrate products to public cloud platforms such as Azure. Invest in learning and experimentation to expedite cloud implementations in Azure. Use automated pipelines for building, testing, and deploying software packages, continuously improving both the quality and speed of pipelines. Contribute to testing automation and participate in peer reviews to increase product quality. Maintain a production‑first mindset focused on scale, uptime, and rapid triage and resolution of production issues. Invest in our Agile practice to continuously improve product quality and time to market. Technology Skills Code Scanning: SonarQube, Checkmarx. Source Code Repos: Git. UI: Angular, JavaScript, CSS, Node.js, ASP.NET MVC. API: REST, SOAP, and Azure Functions. Containerization: Azure Kubernetes Service and Kubernetes (open source). High‑level Programming Languages: C# (.NET MVC and .NET Core). Scripting: PowerShell, Bash. Databases: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, NoSQL (e.g., Cosmos DB). Test Automation: SpecFlow, DevTest, Karate Labs, Selenium, Test Data Manager, Postman, Maven, TestNG, JMeter. Operating Systems: Windows, Linux. Experience & Expectations Azure and cloud services experience is a must. 100% of the job is development. Behavior‑driven development is a plus. Test‑driven development is a plus. First 30 days: focus on design principles and patterns. First 60–90 days: build and deploy microservices‑based solutions. Exceed expectations by thinking through security expectations with Azure, including authentication. Deployment strategies: blue/green deployments; design and deploy canary on AKS.
