As an architect on our team, you'll have the opportunity to design across a diverse range of mid-to-large-scale projects that make a positive impact.**Requirements**:- 15+ project management experiences- Knowledge of building engineering and architecture.**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**- Pursues and develops business opportunities for the firm and increases revenue to meet assigned targets.- Supports management in the development and implementation of business and marketing strategies.- Researches and gathers information on potential clients and projects.- Schedules meetings with prospective clients to uncover project opportunities.- Identifies and tracks business opportunities with internal accounting- Works with technical staff to develop proposals and scopes of work.- Makes commitments on behalf of the firm.- Develops and maintains a strong business network.- Establishes and maintains on-going client relationships with the various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems.- Develops new project opportunities through personal sales efforts and professional relationships with brokers, developers, property management firms and owners involved with new development or renovation work for existing building interiors and exteriors.- Performs other duties as assigned.- Develops quotes and proposals- Aides in closing new engagements by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations- Manages own sales budget and maintains discipline to stay within assigned sales and expense budgets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis- Assists with account roll out programs (i.e. education/internal marketing at client locations & for client audiences) as needed- Develops from concept an annual/periodic event(s) that brings the AA client community together to network, be inspired and remain informed of AA design achievements which may inform their planning/future state thinking- Commitment to continual learning and development of fluency in the value proposition and key elements of AA’s ability to deliver/execute**Qualification / Skills**- 15+ years of relevant experience in building design architecture and engineering, particularly in medium to high-scale projects such as hotels, high rises, vertical residences, offices, and mixed-uses.- Having experience in completing a minimum of 5 projects, from beginning to end in a similar leadership role.- Demonstrated proficiency in delivering engaging and persuasive presentations to both clients and project teams, with a focus on effectively communicating project goals and objectives.- Proficiency and/or knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop, InDesign Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office are preferred.- Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.- Excellent time management and organizational skills.- Problem-solving skills.- Attention to detail and accuracy.- Strong relationship-building.**Education**- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited program or equivalent education.- A current Registered Architect license.- LEED, WELL, EDGE + other credentials are not required, but a Plus.**PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR CURRENT PORTFOLIO AND WORK SAMPLES IN PDF FORMAT**- **WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU**_**Find us here**:**DIVERSITY STATEMENTS**:Gomez Vazquez international is an equal opportunity employer and supports talent from diverse backgrounds that bring experiences, viewpoints and solutions that best serve our clients, community and enrich our work environment.
