**Security Monitoring Analyst****:- Santander****Location**: Hybrid - Querétaro**Conditions**: Perm positions, must be on site.**Salaries**: Open to Negotiate**MUST**: Previous Experience on finance, banking is a PLUS**Duration**:Possibility of extensions and/or full-time hire**Description**:Santander Bank NA is looking for a Monitoring Analyst to join our Cyber Fusion Center (CFC) and work to monitor for indicators of attack and improve our processes and procedure.**Requirements**:- Fluent in English and Spanish- Monitor and detect security events from SIEM, Log collection Engines and other security technologies, such as Splunk and McAfee DLP- Perform investigations using security platforms to determine false positives or escalate (i.e. IDS/IPS, DLP, etc.)- Monitoring of health alerts and downstream dependencies- Review and take a proactive approach to false positive and work with other teams to improve accuracy of the alerts- Document, investigate and notify appropriate contact for security events and response- Collaborate with technical teams for security incident remediation and communication- Conduct security research on threats and remediation methods- Prepares system security reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends; presents reporting for management review**Must Have**:- 5-7 years of cybersecurity monitoring experience- Strong security monitoring experience (SOC)- Skilled with splunk searches and queries- Review and triage security events and identify false positives- Bilingual in both English and Spanish**Nice to haves**: Splunk (SIEM) experience**Location**:- Hybrid work model- Onsite 2-3 days a week at the Queretaro, Mexico Santander office (preference) OR Mexico City office (Prolongacion Paseo de la Reforma 500)**Duration**:- Possibility of extensions or full-time hire**Interview Process**: 1-2 interviews to hire**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per month**Experience**:- Security Monitoring Analyst: 5 years (preferred)- Cybersecurity Monitoring: 5 years (preferred)- Splunk (SIEM): 5 years (preferred)- McAfee DLP: 5 years (preferred)**Language**:- English (preferred)Work Location: One location
