Salesforce Professional Services - Global Delivery Centre (GDC) focuses on delivering global strategic engagements that define transformational opportunities and execution of change programs. OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

Salesforce is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Solution Consulting to join our Global Delivery Centre (GDC) team. This role plays a meaningful part in managing, training, and building the careers of our technical and solution consulting team.

We use Industry Cloud functionality to deliver customer requirements quickly with minimal customization. Our technologies include but are not necessarily limited to Salesforce.com products and APIs, Apex/Visualforce, Lightning, Amazon Web Services, mobile development technologies, and integration/ETL technologies.

YOUR IMPACT

  • You’ll be responsible for leading, training, and mentoring Technical and Solution Consultants to transform the program designs of our Solution Architects and Technical Architects into configured solutions that meet customer needs, while also enhancing the delivery capabilities of our Technical & Solution Consulting teams.
  • Our customers expect easy-to-use applications that reduce agent handling times, enhance the user experience, and integrate seamlessly with their other systems and tools. And that’s where you come in You’ll help us bring the "wow" factor to our customer deployments by improving the Industry Cloud product to deliver user-friendly, innovative web and mobile apps that are tailored and branded for each specific customer.
  • Working predominantly with Agile scrum teams, your team will build out complex business processes using Industry Cloud technology and the Force.com platform toolkit. You’ll work closely with delivery manager teams, and technical and solution consultants to ensure efficient onboarding, training, and the ongoing success of our team.
  • You’ll oversee between 15-20 direct reports, balancing your leadership responsibilities with delivering solution work on projects at a 25% utilization rate.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15+ years of experience leading solution consulting projects and managing individual contributors.
  • Experience leading professional consulting teams delivering large enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations.
  • Experience in agile and hybrid SDLC models including full lifecycle deployments.
  • 3+ years implementing Salesforce CRM Projects including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • 10+ years experience in Project Management Roles. Experienced in leading external client projects in positions of growing responsibility in the delivery of business consulting and systems development.
  • Consistent track record of training and coaching consultants to thrive in a professional consulting environment as well as assisting direct reports in the definition and attainment of individual goals.
  • A good understanding of user interface design principles, with a consistent track record of creative Salesforce development.
  • Strong knowledge of a variety of technology and the ability to multi-task between different projects and workflow stages.
  • Experience working on deployment teams, ideally using Agile development techniques.
  • Passionate about developing apps that are both eye-catching and intuitive.
  • Self-starter, adept at picking up new skills and technologies, and eager to break new ground.
  • Good communication skills, equally comfortable with crafting emails as delivering a technical presentation or demo.
  • You will serve as an escalation point for your team of Technical Consultants; build credibility and trust within the Salesforce Industries professional services group.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Agile Scrum Master Certification.
  • EPC/CPQ/OM.
  • Salesforce Certification - Administrator, App Builder or more preferred.
  • Industry domain experience in Financial Services, Health Insurance, Telecommunication, Consumer Goods sector is ideal.
  • Experience with the Salesforce Industries suite of products is a plus.

Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.) - Salesforce.com Certification Required.
