Position Summary:The Manufacturing Process Development Engineer provides economical solutions to create & improve processes for the manufacture of wire & cable. This position interacts with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Cable Assembly Engineering, Manufacturing, Test laboratories, raw material suppliers and equipment manufacturers. This position is responsible for the development & industrialization activities required of a high precision, high bandwidth product base.Primary Responsibilities, Tasks & Deliverables:- Product / Process validation & transfer- Assist with product qualification- Process improvement & documentation - Bulk Cable- Assist all areas of cable manufacturing as required.- Support Product Development validation & qualification activities.- Assist with organizing and running DOEs- Support the development of PFMEA, 8D, FA- Assist Tooling Specification & Design activities.- Support SAFE Activities- Support ISO Activities- Provide Technical support for maintenance activities.- Provide any support for any activities or projects necessary to support the business**What your background should look like**:Job Requirements/Experience Necessary- Manufacturing, Mechanical or Plastics Engineering Degree preferred.- Minimum 1 to 2 years of wire & cable process engineering experience..- Working Knowledge in SPC/Six Sigma/Lean- CAD Experience Required- Knowledge of materials, processes, and systems used in the manufacture of wire & cable a must.- Up to 30% International Travel Required.POSITION LOCATED IN HERMOSILLO, SONORAON SITE POSITIONLI-ONSITELATAMLV**Competencies**:- Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork
