Sr. Network

The Senior Network Administrator position directly supports Global Advantage Communications ITInfrastructure. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting,and optimizing all server hardware, software, and communication links. The person will alsoanalyze and resolve end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accuratefashion and provide end user training where required. In addition, this person will participate inrisk management processes & on IT projects.- Administer and support network, infrastructure, routers & switches, including firewalls,VLans, Network Segments, MDF, IDF’s, VPN’s, ISP links and their associated configurations- Administer security solutions, including endpoint protection, intrusion detection systems,and vulnerability scanners- Coordinate ongoing vulnerability remediation projects- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot workstations, servers, printers, scanners,firewalls, switches, routers, and other infrastructure components- Conduct research on network, and security products, services, protocols, and standards insupport of network procurement and development efforts- Administer and monitoring ISP circuits & services.- Handle ticket escalations from the Help Desk- Monitor and respond to alerts for system outages, backup jobs, performance degradation,and other conditions- Participate in and support capacity planning and the development of long-term strategicgoals for systems and software- Provide guidance to junior team membersprocedures- Participate in on-call rotation- Participate in incident response operations- Communicate and present complex technical information to non-technical users- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Sr IT Manager**Minimum Qualifications**:- 5+ years of experience in the information technology field- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information systemsmanagement, cybersecurity, or related field- Advanced industry certifications- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft desktop and server operating systems, Active Directory,- Advanced knowledge in backup and data protection technologies- Advanced knowledge in networking technologies, protocols, DNS, TCP/IP, and concepts- Working knowledge in information and infrastructure security concepts- Working knowledge in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Microsoft O365**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:- 5+ years of experience in the information technology field working in environments withmore than 500 users- Experience working in the manufacturing/service industry and with Operational Technology- Intermediate knowledge in information and infrastructure security concepts- Intermediate knowledge in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Microsoft O365- English-speaking at a professional level- Project management experienceResume/CV must be in English**Education**:- IT Bachelor's (required)**Experience**:- Information technology field: 5+ years (required)- Networking, CCNA, MS Platforms & Servers: 5+ years (required)- Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, and Microsoft O365: 5+ years (required)- Networking & Cisco Certifications a Plus**Benefits**:- Benefits above the law- Weekly salary- Free IT training- Free meal per day- Free Parking- Shift Mon - Friday (Flexible)- Medical Benefits- Free transportation bus- Power Points BonusTipo de puesto: Tiempo completo, Por tiempo indeterminadoSalario: $25,000.00 - $35,000.00 al mesBeneficios:- Estacionamiento de la empresa- Servicio de comedorHorario:- Turno de 10 horasPuede trasladarse/mudarse:- Tijuana, B.C.: Trasladarse al trabajo sin problemas o planear mudarse antes de comenzar a trabajar (Deseable)
