They create internal risk management and compliance processes, and make sure they’re running efficiently.We’re looking for a Finance & Financial Risk Auditor to deliver high-quality audits across finance, treasury, operations and risk areas. You’ll be reviewing financial statements, assessing controls, and identifying improvements to ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.Up to shape what’s next in finance? Let’s get in touch.**What you'll be doing**- Identifying control gaps and improvement areas in finance and treasury processes- Reviewing and validating financial statements and reports- Performing data analysis to investigate anomalies or outliers- Conducting financial audits, delivering 2+ audits in a 6-month period- Preparing audit findings and agreeing actions with stakeholders- Supporting internal audit planning and execution- Running annual risk assessments for assigned entities- Ensuring compliance with local regulatory frameworks in Mexico- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as Finance, Treasury, and Operations- Staying informed on accounting standards and best practices**What you'll need**- 3+ years of experience in financial or internal audit- A solid understanding of accounting, finance processes, and financial controls- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in Mexico- Analytical skills to interpret and validate financial data- Great attention to detail- Fluency in English and Spanish with excellent communication skills- The ability to work effectively across multiple teams**Nice to have**- Exposure to treasury or financial risk topics, such as liquidity, capital adequacy, or FX risk- Knowledge of Basel frameworks or ICAAP/ILAAP- Knowledge of CCL and CFEN indicator calculation- A background in internal/external audit or financial statement review- Previous involvement in risk assessments or audit planning- Experience in a Big 4, banking, or fintech environment**_ We won't ask for payment or personal financial information during the hiring process._**_ If anyone does ask you for this, it’s a scam.
