Overview:We are seeking a full-time **Accounting Analyst** in our **Garmin Mexico** (Tlalnepantla de Baz, Edo de Mexico) location. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of Accounts Payable, accounting matters, especially in accruals, intercompany, account and bank reconciliations and supporting various accounting functions always under the supervision of the Controller.**Responsibilities**:**Essential Functions**- Assist in processing a large quantity of timely payments to vendors- Analyze costs and accounting classifications of each payment- Analyze authenticity and veracity of submitted documents- Prepare documents for the approval of payments- Intercompany reconciliation, bank reconciliations, account reconciliation and local trial balance validation- Accrual, manual adjustments and closing activities- Assist in preparation of financial reportsQualifications:**Basic Qualifications**- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting **AND** a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience- Basic knowledge of English language- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards- Confidential treatment of information- Ability to accurately process workload effectively within a required timeframe, while maintaining accuracy- Must be positive, detail/quality oriented, organized, analytical, team oriented and a strong problem solver, multi-tasker, and self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage time in a fast paced, challenging environment- Demonstrated experience in managing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word and demonstrated expertise using Microsoft Excel**Desired Qualifications**- Prior experience using Oracle ERP system- Garmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
