What we are looking for The General Accounting Pleno Analyst will dedicate 100% of their time to R2R processes and activities inherent to the Fixed Assets area: fixed assets analysis & review, fixed assets account reconciliations, data analysis, follow-up on open items, GL reviews, communication with stakeholders, etc. The role will also dedicate 100% of time to Inventory processes: inventory analysis & review, account reconciliations, data analysis, follow-up on open items, GL reviews, communication with stakeholders, etc. Your role In charge of the accounting for an entity under the scope of SSC. Perform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of ledger accounts. Support daily, monthly, and yearly accounting and reporting activities for the SSC MEX general accounting related to all BS and P&L accounts. Support period-end and closing activities, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and roll forwards. Prepare, record, analyze, and report accounting transactions, ensuring integrity, completeness, accuracy, and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles. Accountable for the professional support due to customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Handle all incoming calls, emails, and tickets from the business; try to resolve issues and, when required, escalates them to relevant teams. Build strong collaborative networks with key stakeholders and ensure effective communication. Maintain and adhere to record-to-report procedural documentation. Train team members and provide input to the General Accounting Lead. Report to the General Accounting Lead. Your background Professional with at least 3-4 years of experience and excellent knowledge of the R2R function; proactive, inquisitive, takes ownership, and seeks personal and professional growth. Experience with Colombia is a plus. Excellent understanding of R2R processes, associated risks, and mitigating internal controls. English required, minimum intermediate level. Ability to drive results and accountability, work across multinational cultures, and operate effectively in a global business. Ability to understand and address dynamic business issues. Strong analytical skills for selecting appropriate process improvement projects. High energy, open, flexible, result-oriented, able to set and meet deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Flexibility and ability to prioritize tasks independently. Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and internal control principles in theory and practice, with a self-driven analytical approach. Intermediate experience with all Microsoft Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). Experience with ERP systems (SAP a plus) and GL modules.
