Sr. Quality Engineer Automotive Industry

_**Profile**_- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above.- Over 5 years quality working experience, at least 3 years QA experience in automotive parts manufacturing.- Proven experience in quality assurance, continuous improvement, and process optimization within a manufacturing environment, has experience in quality system management is preferred.- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies (IATF16949)- Experience with data analysis tools and techniques for performance measurement and decision-making.- Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and evaluation of improvement projects.- Effective communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities to drive change and achieve results.- Industrial engineering education background and work experience is preferred.- Fluent in English and Chinese is preferred.- Excellent logical thinking and problem solving.**Job responsibility & requirements**1. Quality Management System (QMS) (30%)- Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and records.- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and customer expectations.- Implement changes to the QMS based on audit findings, customer feedback, and industry standards.- Build close connectivity with other side for benchmark and best practice sharing.2. Quality Assurance (30%)- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies, policies, and procedures for manufacturing processes.- Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations (IATF16949).- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.- Analyse quality data and metrics to drive continuous improvement in product quality and process efficiency.- Develop and conduct training programs on quality standards, procedures, and tools for manufacturing personnel.3. Continuous Improvement (20%)- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen.- Facilitate cross-functional teams to identify process inefficiencies, waste, and opportunities for improvement.- Implement data-driven solutions to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce defects, and enhance productivity.- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices and fostering innovation.4. Production management (15%)- Coordinate with planning team to ensure efficient utilization of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.- Monitor production process, identify bottlenecks or issues and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency and productivity.- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures.- Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.5.
