We value our interns highly and our program has been highly successful, in fact some of our most senior leaders came-up through our program and have continued to make a mark because of our collaborative and supportive culture.**2021 Vault Rankings**7 Best Internships for Computer Science7 Best Internships for Software Engineering10 Best Internships for Software Developers16 Best Internships for Diversity**About the Opportunity**Ellucian is seeking an English-Spanish Translator Intern to join our Latin American organization.**Where you will make an impact**:- Supporting the translation team with the translation of software interfaces and software documentation from English into Spanish- Researching terminology and building/maintaining terminology databases- Participating in the test of translated software products and the execution of test plans to ensure high quality deliverables- Working with multicultural Agile scrum teams around the globe- Having excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills to communicate.- Maintaining close co-operation with our other translation team members based in Amsterdam/Puebla/SaoPaulo/Dubai/Bangalore**What you will bring**:- Excellent knowledge of English and Spanish written and verbal- Actively pursuing a degree in Technical Translation or equivalent- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills- Ability to learn fast in a rapidly changing environment- Ability to plan, prioritize and organize his/her own work- Strong focus on quality- Ability to work well and collaborate in a very diverse team**Desired Experience**:- Experience with Translation Workbench/Terminology Management- Experience with Software Localization (L10N) and Internationalization (I18N)- Agile methodology- SCRUM methodology- Higher Education knowledge**What makes an intern's #ellucianlife awesome**:- Paid Holidays- 2 Charity Days- Food Vouchers- Flexible Time- Rewards & Recognition**Additional Information**:**Req ID**:5369**Hiring Type**:Full - Time**Level of Experience**:Intern**Remote**:Yes**Travel Required**:None
