**Title: Warehouse Logistics Planning Engineer****Location: Monterrey, Mexico*****The typical duties, tasks, and responsibilities that make up the SAP WM Consultant/warehouse logistic planning engineer job description are shown below:- Overseeing and monitoring of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency- Reviews current WM (warehouse management) processes and system configuration and use design, configure, test and document improvements to current processes and use of RF (radio frequency) as needed.- Works with technical team on design, configuration, integration and imaging RF devices.- Works on-site with warehouse personnel to validate warehouse layouts.- Configures and test warehouses in SAP WM.- Deploys and supports end users on-site and coordinates activities with on-site resources making physical changes to warehouse layout and procedures.- Working in relation to production departments, quality assurance, and supply chain analysts in the organization- Examining, identifying, planning and managing special logistics and warehousing processes or operations which involves ensuring that accurate and complete accounting, reporting, and internal control systems are functioning and that all relevant records are accurately maintained.**Qualifications**:- Must have 3+ years of experience in at least two of the supply chain SAP products including WM.- Excellent analytical, problem solving, self-management, and organizational skills- Well-developed oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills in order to effectively instruct employees, and also effectively file reports to the upper management of the organization- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or any field related to logistics management.- Several years of professional experience is also required as it can be of a crucial advantage- Ability to create point of views (POVs) and translate POVs to PORs (point of replenishments)- Experience in working as a logistics planning engineer- Experience with Kitting to ensure space optimization- Expertise in SAP WM is a must- Expertise in working with work with Microsoft packages- Ability to influence individuals and teams in order to achieve set or desired goals and objectives.
