Assistant Editor

**About the Role**:Assistant Editor is a full-time and key POST-Production role at WITHIN. The Assistant Editor (AE) contributes as a core post production team member within the creative department. Their primary function is to prepare, ingest, log and sync footage and assets coming from shoots or from clients. The assistant editor partakes in various projects and across numerous accounts. These can range from focused campaigns to helping broadly prepare footage and project files for broader editorial. This position requires strong organization skills, the ability to forecast issues, prioritize requests and a clear eye for detail. The assistant editor reports directly to the Post Production Supervisor for instruction and work assignments.**Responsibilities include but are not limited to;**- Aiding in transfer/distribution of footage and project files to wider post-production/editorial team- Collaborate with Creative Directors, Art Directors and Producers to identify footage selects and prepare stringouts and assembly cuts.- Work with Post Production Supervisor to enhance standardized workflow solutions across different project and production types- Coordinate with external freelance editors and colorists to prepare, send and gather necessary project assets / footage.- Communicate and resolve technical or personnel issues which may arise and impede active projects and deadlines.- Practicing and enforcing consistent project organization and archival processes.**Requirements**:- Proficiency with non-linear editing and compositing software (namely Adobe Premiere and After Effects). Experience with Resolve and Fusion are a big plus- Expertise in proxy workflows and color round-tripping between internal and external agency partners.- Ability to both collaborate with the broader creative team, and work independently when the projects demand.- Ability to send and receive physical media with team members and directly with clients.**Benefits****About Us**:We are Performance Branding experts, working with scalable and enterprise brands including Nike, The North Face, Vans, and Proximo Spirits.
