Directs and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in procurement consistent with delivery requirements and quality specifications.What a typical day looks like:- Prepares instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.- Establishes goals and objectives for purchasing department.- Develops policies and procedures for the operation of procurement activities.- Manage and lead a team of buyers and expeditors to meet procurement and supplier management objectives.- Implement processes with suppliers to improve on time delivery and Purchase Price Variance.- Implement Vendor Managed Inventory models.- Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.- Ensures continuity of raw material supply to support production schedules and balances with achieving inventory level targets.- Conduct supplier performance reviews and support the team to maintain supplier consistent on time delivery and implement processes with suppliers to ensure on time delivery and quality of product / service.- Manage the sourcing of new supply bases for competitive pricing, quality and reliable products.- Keep senior management informed of present/future trends in availability and cost of materials, components and equipment.The experience we’re looking to add to our team:- Bachelor's Degree/Engineering completed.- Bilingual.- Experience in the implementation and development of a purchasing department.- Experience in similar position preferably within the metal-mechanical industry.- Experience in the purchase of direct materials (everything that is part of BOM).- Knowledge of KPI's of the purchasing area.- Team management.- Service attitude.What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:- Competitive Salary.- Life & Medical insurance.- Christmas Bonus.- Food Coupons.- Saving Fund.Job CategoryGlobal Procurement & Supply Chain
