Automation Engineer

_**SUMMARY**:_- **The incumbent of this position will need to work closely with other teams to help discover and eliminate issues by gathering requirements and implementing process automation. This will include hardware and/or software, but other times you will be asked to automate service or business processes.**_- **Supervise the activities of the Maintenance Technicians to carry out preventive and/or corrective maintenance; that ensure the optimal functioning of the machines and equipment that support the business for the achievement of production objectives.**_- **The goal of the Automation Engineer is to eliminate defects, errors, and problems with product or software development and with business processes or customer service. He is responsible for monitoring all the technologies that he created/implemented to ensure their proper functioning and relevance. For this reason, his main responsibility is precisely to help the company increase productivity and profitability, which will finally be reflected in its profits.**_- **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:_- **A)**_ _**Responsible for the development of preventive and corrective maintenance activities in the machinery and production equipment, as well as the maintenance of the SAP system to be in compliance with ISO standards**_- **B)**_ _**Responsible for maintaining communication with supervisors and operational staff to respond efficiently to programs established by management and encourage teamwork that results in a pleasant work environment.**_- **C)**_ _**Identify automation opportunities within software processes.**_- **D)**_ Planning and design of automation solutions.- **E)**_ _**Carry out technical and economic feasibility studies on the solutions developed.**_- **F)**_ _**Modeling, simulation and control of the production process.**_- **G)**_ _**Identify errors in development processes, services or business.**_- **I)**_ _**Projection and implementation of measurements of instruments, sensors and algorithms.**_- **J)**_ _**Collaborate with other business units to understand how automation can improve workflow.**_- **K)**_ _**Manage human and material resources for the design, development and implementation of comprehensive industrial automation projects, respecting international regulations on automation, including those related to the environment**_.- **L)**_ _**Participate in compliance of the 5S's programs, Waste Disposal, Kaizen, Quality, Lean Manufacturing programs and Continuous Improvement in the maintenance areas.**_- **M)**_ _**Responsible for compliance with the Regulatory Quality Standards, Hygiene, Safety and Environment Regulatory Regulation, BPM's, etc.**_- **N)**_ _**Testing of databases, systems, networks, hardware, etc.**_- **O)**_ Use_**automation consoles and PLC interfaces to develop automation projects**_.- **P)**_ _**Other activities that are required.**_- QUALIFICATIONS:_- **To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.**_- **EDUCATION and/ or EXPERIENCE**:_- **1.**_ _**Technical career in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Automation or equivalent.**_- **Five years of verifiable experience in industrial equipment.**_- **A keen sense of design.**_- **English language proficiency.**_- **5.**_ _**Knowledge in Quality Regulatory Standards, Hygiene, Safety and Environment Regulatory Standards, BPM's, SOP's, Pneumatics, Electricity, Mechanics, Logical Control, Microsoft Office, basic knowledge of Machining, Interpretation of drawings, electrical and pneumatic diagrams,Zebra Printer, Fault Detection, Scales, hot melt glue aplicators**_- **CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**:_- **1.**_ _**Forklift License.**_- **TEAMWORK**:_- **The incumbent must demostrate and promote team on a consistent basis within the assigned department as well as across functional lines of operations.**_- **1.**_ _**Pneumatic Knowledge - Valves: Actuator, Vacuum Pumps, reading pneumatic diagrams.**_- **Feeders of Parts (In-Lines and Bowls), Bowls controllers, transition points, movement control using sensors (Signal operation for synchronization).**_- **Mechanical aptitudes for reading diagrams, mechanical assemblies, exhausted systems, dispensing systems, mechanical component operations (indexers, Berings, belt tensioners, mechanical shock absorbers.**_- **Good Knowledge of PLC- and Timers.**_- **Analysis of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, safety and control relays.**_- **LANGUAGE SKILLS**:_- **Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, ability to write routine reports and correspondence and tha ability to speak effectively before groups of customer or employees of organization.**_- **ARITMETICAL OPERATION SKILLS**:_- **PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY**:_- **Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where
