Each team contributes to DXC's success and each individual delivers world-class service and has opportunities to grow and learn.**About the Role**:As a **Network Operations Engineer**, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing DXC’s network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues, implement upgrades, and support strategic initiatives across the enterprise.**Essential Job Functions**:- Monitor and manage network performance, availability, and reliability across global infrastructure.- Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and degradations in a timely manner.- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.- Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement network changes and upgrades.- Maintain documentation of network architecture, configurations, and procedures.- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.**Basic Qualifications**:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 3+ years of experience in network operations or network engineering.- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network platforms.- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark).**Other Qualifications**:- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.- Excellent communication and documentation skills.- Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.At DXC Technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
