Field Sales Engineer

Job Overview You will be accountable for sales of Mechanical Power Transmission products within the Bajio area of Mexico, driving sales volumes according to the Company’s plans. Reporting to the Dodge Mexico Sales Manager, you will be responsible for growing the Dodge business, maintaining important relationships with our channel partners, end users and OEMs, and providing critical feedback to Sales and Product Management on all issues that affect the ability to grow the Dodge market. Key Responsibilities Work with marketing and other departments to prepare sales plans and bids, ensuring technical and financial accuracy. Identify and develop new market opportunities with the wider sales team. Use your knowledge of customers’ needs and Dodge’s solutions to determine effective solutions for customers. Monitor customer and market trends with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities. Travel up to 40%-50% of the time. 3>Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering and minimum 2 years of experience in the power transmission field. Effective communication skills with the ability to listen, understand, educate, and influence customers or potential customers regarding products. English communication skills, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Dodge product applications with the ability to recommend suitable products to customers and differentiate products from competitors. Capable of appraising commercial business situations, internally and externally, and determining a course of action.
